Medical Qigong Doctorate Program
The doctorate program is a series of advanced classes in Medical Qigong that combines the wisdom of Classical Chinese Medicine as well as the opportunity to learn new Medical Qigong protocols, exercises and meditations. We will also look at some of the leading research both from a Chinese Medicine as well as a Functional Medicine point of view.
The program is composed of 6 classes spread out approximately over a year and a half.
Classes:
- Detoxification
- Cardiovascular, Neurology and Shen disturbances
- Hormonal and Endocrine Issues
- Gastrointestinal Issues
- Autoimmune and Cancer
- Clinic: case studies as well as an opportunity to review any previous material
Pricing:
$1150 per class.
$1050 per class paid 30 days in advance
$3000 paid in two installments: April 15 2016 and November 15 2016 . Under the installment plan, cancellations will be calculated on actual classes attended at the $1150 rate.
Deposit of $200 is required to reserve your space. The deposit will be applied to the 1st class balance.
Travel and Lodging:
Travel and lodging is not included in the price. Airplane travel is easily accessible either through MIA or FLL airports. Airport Shuttles will take you anywhere in Miami. Shared rides shuttles are the least expensive. There are several lodging choices within walking distance of the venue. Lodging ranges from frugal to the more upscale. The Mimo District on Biscayne Boulevard, has been going through a major renovation process. The re-opening of the Vagabond hotel is one of the more upscale options for lodging in this area. Numerous other hotels are currently being remodeled and may be finished by the time of class. Many properties that have separate facilities or cottages are being rented through AIRBNB. AIRBNB lodging has the advantage of a full kitchen. There are also numerous restaurants within walking distance of the venue.

Class 2 -6 will be determined at class 1 by the participants schedules.
Hours:
- Day 1: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Day 2 - 3: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Day 4: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Research Paper or Case Studies
A 30 page double-spaced research paper or case study on a relevant health topic will be required in year 2 or to complete graduation. All topics must be approved.
Admittance into Program
All participants must be approved and have completed the Master's of Medical Qigong training created by Jerry Alan Johnson or be concurrently enrolled. Doctorate graduation and certificate will be withheld until all 3 levels of training have been completed.
